Users with active Administrator accounts can use this information to manage other Symphony users from their company. For information on registering and activating an Administrator account, see Gaining Business Administrator Access.

Accessing User Administration Options
- Sign in to Symphony.
- Click on the Administration link. (See Figure 1).
- Select the name of a user to manage their access and permissions.
Administrators can activate users after registration. If necessary, they can also remove a user's access. (See Figure 1).

- Administrators can only activate additional users after they register.
- All users must self register. Symphony does not support adding accounts on another's behalf.
- Administrators can limit those who have access, or provide access and remove access after specific tasks are completed.
1. User status update
Administrators can change the status of registered users on Symphony contract vehicles for their organization. (See Figure 2).

Steps to change user status:
- Click on the row with the User’s Name.
- Select the user’s status from the pop-up menu.
- Click on the desired option.

2. Group Membership Update
Administrators can modify user permissions within the Administration link. Permissions can be changed by selecting from the Group Membership options. (See Figure 3).

Note: The Contract Manager and Program Manager roles in a proposal can only be changed before the solicitation deadline and these designations do not have administrative access in Symphony. Symphony also does not include an Authorized Negotiator role.
Best Practice It is recommended that organizations delegate their proposal submission to an Open Market Proposal Manager to ensure accuracy. |
