Company Profile Guide: UEI, SAM.gov Details, and Corporate Settings

Purpose: This guide helps you use the My Company component. This is the central hub for all business users to manage their reusable assets, team members, and contract information after successfully signing in.

2. Manage Contracts, Teaming Partners, and Corporate Assets

3. Review the Document Library

Before You Start

  • Primary Component: My Company is the primary, central component for all business users in Symphony.

  • Reusable Assets: The assets you store here are reusable across all future proposal submissions.

  • Master Repository Boundary: Assets stored in My Company serve as your master corporate library. Storing assets here does not automatically claim points or populate an active proposal draft. Points must be explicitly claimed inside each solicitation's Submission Workspace.

  • Shared Access: All active users registered under your company's UEI and CAGE code have access to the data within this component.

  • Requirement vs. Technical Support: The Symphony Help Desk provides support for technical platform issues only (e.g., login errors, file upload failures). For questions regarding solicitation requirements or what documents satisfy an RFP requirement, you must contact the Government Program Office or Contracting Officer listed in the solicitation. The RFP requirements always outweigh the Symphony platform.

Steps

1. View and Manage Your Asset Library

Start by accessing the central component to view your company's stored information.

  1. Go to the My Company screen to access your asset library.

  2. Use the left navigation menu to view and complete the various asset tabs.

  3. View the Company Overview tab to see a summary of your assets.

  4. View the SAM Data tab to review your legal business name, UEI, CAGE code, and registration details.

Important SAM.gov Data Note

SAM.gov information is retrieved during your initial registration and does not automatically sync in the background. If your company updates its details in SAM.gov, you must submit a ticket to the Help Desk requesting a manual data refresh (attaching an executed SF-30 Contract Modification if you are an awarded Contract Holder).

2. Manage Contracts, Teaming Partners, and Corporate Assets

    1. Contracts: Access the Contracts section located within the My Company component if you are an awarded Contract Holder (e.g., ASTRO or DHA) to manage contract administration tasks.

    2. Team Members: Go to the Team Members section to add or update subcontractor, partner, and Joint Venture (JV) member information.

External Partners vs. Internal Users

The Team Members tab is strictly for adding external partner companies (subcontractors, JV members, partners). You cannot use this tab to add your internal employees or colleagues.

To add internal employees to your Symphony account:
  1. Colleagues must self-register on the correct portal using your company’s exact UEI and CAGE code.

  2. An active Administrator must log in, navigate to the Administration tab (outside of My Company), and switch their status to Active.

    3. MRCLs: Add Members, Representatives, Affiliates, Parent/Subsidiary, or Commercial Lead entities tied to your corporate structure.

    4. Projects / Past Performance: Upload master contract details, CPARS, and performance records. (Treat subcontractor experience as a commercial project when adding it to My Company, as it did not involve a direct contract with the government).

    5. Business Factors: Store company-level certifications, accounting systems, facilities clearances, and organizational changes (mergers/acquisitions/novations).

    6. Cost / Price: Store and manage solicitation pricing claims, completed Excel pricing spreadsheets (.xlsx), and supporting documentation (e.g., Basis of Estimate or Labor Rate Attestations).

3. Review the Document Library

The Document Library is the final section of My Company and serves as the official archive for all uploaded files.

  1. Navigate to the Document Library tab to view all files uploaded across your assets.

Read-Only System Archive: The Document Library is view-only—you cannot upload, edit, or delete documents directly from this screen.

To manage or delete documents, you must go to the specific asset tab (Projects, Business Factors, or MRCLs) where the file was originally linked, remove the reference, and save your changes.

Troubleshooting

Issue

Fix

You added projects to My Company, but your Live Score is 0.Assets in My Company are library files only. Enter your active Submission Workspace, link the project under the Projects tab, and click BEGIN to manually claim its Performance Factors.

Your SAM Data tab shows outdated company information.Symphony retrieves SAM data during initial registration and does not auto-sync. Make changes in SAM.gov first, then submit a Help Desk ticket requesting a manual data refresh (attach an SF-30 Contract Modification if you are a Post-Award Contract Holder).

You cannot see your contracts in My Company.

Confirm you registered under the correct company at the right link for the Contract Vehicle.

Your Cost/Price upload fails or gives a loading error.Symphony requires exactly one unencrypted .xlsx file and at least one supporting file. Verify your spreadsheet is the most recent version, not password-protected and that no columns/rows were removed from the government template.

You need to delete documents.

You cannot delete documents from the Library. You must go to the asset tab where the file was originally linked, remove the reference, and then delete the file.

You can't add new employees or colleagues to your account.Colleagues must self-register on the portal using your company's UEI and CAGE code. Once registered, an active Administrator must go to the Administration tab to switch their status to Active.

You are adding a project performed as a subcontractor.

Treat this as a commercial project when adding it to My Company, as it did not involve a direct contract with the government.

You cannot restrict user access to sensitive data.

Symphony is designed so all active users have full access to all company data under the same UEI/CAGE code. To protect sensitive pricing files, upload Cost/Price assets as your final step before proposal submission.

I am unsure how to answer a specific RFP question (e.g., Annual Receipts).Contact the Program Office. Symphony Support cannot interpret government solicitation requirements or provide guidance on how to respond to RFP fields. Please refer to the official RFP or contact the Contracting Officer for the specific vehicle (e.g., OASIS+, Alliant 3).
